Final post

I think my passion for graphic design started when I lived in Japna.  Living there I got to see many different things while i was there.  Throught the television shows with the big bright typography to teh animation.  But what got me the most passionate about graphic design is the japanese animation and reading manga.  It got me into drawing the way the japanses animator did.  Then I started to get more and more into drawing and all these great ideas for manga characters but never gotr much into the developing a story behind them.  With taking Graphic Design 1 is just showed me that there is more things out there.  I am excited that i get to design a cover of my buddies band and they might use it if they really like it.  But all this is important to me because it make me who i am today and if i didnt have a passion then i would be in the wrong job field.  But you have toi almost have to have something important or a goal or you might be stuck in a loop of nothingness.  But it is also important because it reminds me of the things that my grandpa has taught me and he was a great man who was full of ideas, plus a great artist.  But the arts keep me connected to him even though he is no long around.  He was a great influence and told me to never give up because i have a real talent.

bugs

I found this ad to be very interesting.  It is an ad for a helmet company.  It is very interesting that they used an animal that usually has a hard shell and replaced it with there helmet.  The way the did the layout is very simple and the main color of the helmet and animal stick out cause they used a viberate color for this ad.  But they have the company name in the upper right hand corner in small letters to not take away from the picture.  I think this is a very well done ad.

piano

I found this in Advertisement and it is two ads for a piano shop.  I liked how they took simple everyday things and made it into the keyboard.  This design is very calming and clean.  The color compliment each other well. 

animals

I really like this ad that i found.  It is very simple and yet it gets its point across.  I like the idea that they use the pots to make out the chicken and the crab.  It is very innovated.  With the type and the bottom right hand corner it doesn't take away from the image and yet it is big enough to still catch your attention. 

Run!!!

This ad is for an energy bar made with real fruits.  It caught my attention because well it is a fruit running.  It is well balanced with colors and the proportions are good.  I think it is a little over done because now a days you see all types of commercials making food do things that they aren't suppose to be doing normally.  But the concept is good and with the yellow background and the red strawberry it really stands out.

I thought this was a neat idea.  It made me take a second look.  This was an ad for a cargo van that you really didnt have to do work, cause it was a automatic.

Third advertisement

I found this to be a boring ad.  You cant always post something you like.  There is good aspects to this ad.  It has some football players sitting in a waiting room and how they use the same doctors that we use.  The letter coloring is a good match to this ad, it stands out but is not out of place.
